it is quite normal to find a little bit of oil in your intake pipe and intercooler pipes.... if there is bucketloads.. k you have problems heh

now.. pulling trans with engine

that depends on how big your hands are... and if you have an engine hoist that goes high enuf heh

personally... i unbolt the trannie from the engine, unplug ecu, pull it thru to engine.. pull engine

i would say you've thrown a rod bearing.... so drop the sump (oil pan) and have a look to see whats in the bottom.... (don't forget to drain the oil first :P)

if you want to remove the compete engine and trans assembly and don't have a high enough ceiling for clearance, remove the top rad brace(it takes time ,a drill, and a metal chissle,i'm a metal worker so i aint afraid of no metal),this makes it really easy to slide the entire assembly out of the chassis.(i race so this is a big pluss when pulling the engine in my suburban garage.anyhow thats how i do it,however just a suggestion.laters!
