put it back to stock dude.... there's a reason toyota didn't use the same ignitor and yes it will damage the engine
imagine starting it stone cold... hasn't built up correct oil pressure and it revs to 3000rpm, i would say rod knock won't be far behind if you continue just keep the ignitor there and get the rest of the turbo parts and do yourself a turbo swap ![]()
