I'm glad you mentioned this again SUB.
Why do you have an issue with an operating temp idle of 900 rpmish or so? If you're warm. 900 is a good place to be. Much lower than 800 and I seem to think I have to mash that focker to make things move. What rpm idle speed are you aiming for??? ![]() |

He's probably aiming for the 650 RPM range ( I think thats what the idle is spec'd at for a warm, stock 7MGTE.

yeah, after blocking off the bov, my idle sits right around 650-750, depending on how hot it is.

That just seems low to me.
Thanks I was just wondering. I am an N/A so we will have differences in things like that. But I will check up on what the na idle should be when I get back to that section. |

I think your right, for your N/A i think somewhere around 750 RPM rings a bell.
