Like evryone has pretty much said back pressure is not needed and turbos perform better when it has less. I would suggest leaving a slight amount but not too much is needed definitly not as muchas the N/A version.

the only reasons for an exhaust on a turbo, that i can think of: put exhaust fumes away from car, keeps noise down, keep stuff from getting into turbo. to point out though, i drove with only the turbo elbow for a while, then put the exhaust back on. im planing a 3" turbo back.

sharing is nice, but false info sucks. thats why i try not to post unless i know what im talking about or ill say im not sure. also why i dont get upset when im corrcted.
