huh cool, anyone in good contact with cooleeze they need to make us a cold air intake set up, people will buy it ;)

SilenceboneSupra 01-29-2008 11:12 AM

lol that would be a good idea if they can make one

mkiiisupra 01-29-2008 11:15 AM

haha made a poll, i dont see whats stoping them, even if i have to cut a lil bit no big deal, just would like a professional looking CAI set up.... even a heat sheild to block off the heat from that section would be fine

SilenceboneSupra 01-29-2008 11:16 AM

but the air already gets cooled off by the intercooler... ive seen some ppl that wrapped the intake pipe from the intercooler instead of the headers

mkiiisupra 01-29-2008 11:18 AM

intercooler helps yea, but the colder the air going in the better.

the colder the air going in the more dense it is so it is able to pull in more.

SilenceboneSupra 01-29-2008 11:21 AM

yeah that is true, maybe they should design a air to water cooled intake pipe that would be cool but dangerous if u get a crack and all that water goes into the engine :eek3:

mkiiisupra 01-29-2008 11:22 AM

just as dangerous as a water cooled computer. if its installed and maintained properly increases the computer performance alot... if not...... well you have no more computer lol

mkiiisupra 01-29-2008 11:23 AM

i dont think its so much the air in the pipes that needs to be cooled but the air around the intake.

SilenceboneSupra 01-29-2008 11:27 AM

well your not gna get alot of succes trying to cool the air around the intake, u need to make sure that the intake is not exposed to something realy hot but in this case it always is so u need to protect it from the heat

mkiiisupra 01-29-2008 11:28 AM

just dont know how to go about that ;( its right next to the radiator which isnt good
