This is the fan setup I run, and a lot of people on yellowbullet forums run it as well. It fits my aluminum radiator fine, but not sure about the stock one.

I just install the 14" electric fan for $67 That was easy. The hardest part was removing the clutch fan.
I talked the parts guy I trust at the Advance auto parts, he told I can still put a 10" on my car with relays for both fans. If realy need it. If I am not racing, one fan should work very well. The 14" is used on some small v8's. Therefore it should work for you inline 6 cyclinder. I still have to put the external thermostate for the fan on. I keep the stock shroud on. Where did you get the Aluminum radiator at and what is the cost.
There is another opition for me, is to put another 10 fan on my radiator. but I will lose the shroud. I will be waiting for you comments or/and your advice. Thank you. I need this car running so for college. |

i take it the new fans didnt help??
if your interested in an aluminum rad. check out the link in post#4 im going to run the griffan rad and fans for my 1uz.
