I apologize I skipped over two of your questions. Yes the filter needs to be relocated.

Yes you also need a tach adapter.

When doin the wiring if u can get ahold of the mkiii chassis plugs and cut the 5mge plugs u could make adapters rather the needing to cut the 7m harness or especially your chassis harness...

Now this may be out of line but if u have read my other threads u kno I'm a jz fanatic... I have owned 3 7mgte and they were good engines but I now have a 1jz and know a ton of locals that have 2jz. I woukd highly recommend u consider a jz engine. A LOT more reliable. And faster mod to mod. Without having to open the engine up for the famous BHG like the 7m a jz can make 600hp with upgraded fuel system and turbo. Not to mention they look so much better. And the sound is oh so heavenly!!! I just say this cuz i wish I would have done a jz rather then a 7m after I was done in my mkii...

so i should replace the mk2 chassis plugs with mk3 chassis plugs? so that the mk3 7mgte engine harness will plug right in?

i will be getting an entire 1990 car with the 7mgte.

i am only buying this car to get an engine for my mk2 i really dont car for owning another car right now...

i am willing to rape fuck anything from this 1990 chassis i need to get an engine into my mk2

and trust me, all i want is a 1jz. but the bank wont let me, haha
so im goin 7mgte for the time being, so save your j series recomendations until next year at least. lol.

i am fully aware of the power of the j series, but its only what my budjet will allow
(was a jdm 1jztt 84mk2 for sale near me, i almost sold all 3 of my cars to buy it, only 3k for it, had little km on it)
so im already kicking myself in the groin.

Just to clarify to others that pic is of my 1jzgte to ma70 chassis. Plug on the left came from the 1jz front clip and the one on the right is from my 7mgte engine harness c1. The wires left out are for the alternator and the hydro fan. The 7m into the mkii will have to solder alt. Plugs into the chassis

just wondering about some odds and ends.

i was going to use the power steering pump from the 7m, just wondering if it wont hurt anything on the chassis
i had another thought but i guess i will ask later
thanks in advance
