? No, lol.

t.ortlieb, thanks for the comment.

I haven't posted much of an update. But I decided to do a RHD swap. I sent it into the shop on Thurs. He said he'd start working on it tomorrow (Monday). So I'm gonna go over there and take some pics hopefully before they start on it. If not, oh well. I'll still take some pictures.

This is when we were loading the Supra on to the truck. The front clip I'm using is on the flat bed part

After the swap is done, I'm putting the stock motor back in then saving up for some Tein Type Flex coilovers and some swaybars. Anyone have some input on a good set of swaybars?

After I do the suspension, I'm putting the body kit on it and am going to have it painted. Body kit is as follows...

Replica Greddy Gracer bumper
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3161.jpg

Replica Bomex sideskirts and rears
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3175.jpg

Replica Sunshade
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3172.jpg

Replica Turn Signal Covers
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3173.jpg

And one last picture of it being LHD...

I'm still dying for a set of 89+ trim. I can't find a set for the life of me. I cannot get the car painted without the 89+ trim.

I got some new rack boots, inner and outer tie rods, polyurethane steering rack bushings, and a SS braided power steering line. I have to switch the new RHD gauge cluster lights to the LEDs again.

Nice, The only thing I can see possibly being a issue is the tranny tunnel. Since the driver has more foot room the tranny tunnle might be a problem. Nothing a little creative metal work wont fix but it may hamper some progress. Good luck!!

Ahh since it wont be LHD anymore, just sling that old gauge cluster over to me, ehh? :naughty:

If your interested in selling it shoot me a PM please. Thanks.

Sorry chambers, I gave away my old LEDs and the gauge cluster to someone else.

Anyway, not much to update. Car is still in the shop and they haven't done much. I went there on Tuesday and all they've done was pull the dash out of the clip and my armrest out of my car. :frown: They've had it for about 21 days now.

Only thing to update is that I messed with my RHD cluster now. I was upset with the orange coloring on the needles so I changed them to red.

After I scraped all the orange paint off with a razor blade I put this stuff on with a microfiber cloth. It worked awesome to get it to a clear finish. I used two different plastic polishes during this. Plastic-x and this and this stuff worked much better.
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG00062.jpg

Then I put some of this paint on the underside of the needles where the stock orange paint was
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG00063.jpg

And it came out like this, (Sorry about the cell phone pics, my g/f has my camera) PS - I know the speedo and tach are a little bit off.
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG00070.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG00068.jpg

You can see on this one, I spray painted the middle pieces of the needles with a satin black spray paint because I couldn't get to the orange in the center.
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG00067.jpg

I also ordered new LEDs for the back of the cluster and just put them in today. 4 red 194 LEDs, 3 super white 194 LEDs, 1 red 74 LEDs, and 5 super white 74 LEDs. The super white 74 LEDs are for the random things on the cluster, like the seatbelt light, turn signal lights, high beam light, etc... Anything with a colored filter on it. I have no clue how the white will look against the filters so it's more of an experiment than anything.

Unfortunately I won't have the car for another undetermined amount of time so I won't know what all the lights look like for a little while.

I also heard that the harness in the front for the lights and what not need to be extended for the RHD swap. I don't see how that would be necessary but I won't know until I start putting the motor back in when I get the car back. So if this rings to be true, the car will be down for a little longer.

Lulz, thanks.

SMALL UPDATE...

So I get bored easily. And since the car is STILL in the shop, I took the dash board home and decided to paint it because it looked nasty.

Before...

After...
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3202.jpg

And a couple of shots with a decent camera of the gauges/needles...
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3203.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/100_3205.jpg

And I've put all the LEDs in it but I haven't been able to check what it looks like since I don't have the car yet. He said I should have it back in 2 weeks, and I told him I'm going to try to make the FL2K8 Lexus/Supra meet on the 25th of this month. So we'll see. I also told him that since he took the old front bumper off, to put the new Gracer one on so it'll come back with that. http://www.supramania.com/forums/ima...on_biggrin.gif

That black is my new interior color by the way. I've decided to spray it all a semi flat black instead of what I had planned on my last supra. Which was gloss black with a gloss red accent theme. Now it's going to be semi flat black with red stitching.

A few pics from my old supra...

I used this spray paint in the flat black color with the Duplicolor sandable flat black primer first.
