UPDATE 2/8/15:
After running the boost gauge with the sending unit under the hood, I have come to the not-so-shocking conclusion that the boost sensor that ships with the gauge is NOT water-resistant. This sensor has never had direct contact with water, but moisture in the air has ultimately killed it. After emailing Pro Sport, I've confirmed this sensor is not designed to be mounted anywhere but inside the passenger cabin. I think the instructions should have stated this, but they don't. I have fixed my gauge by spending an additional $39.00 and bought the water-resistant sensor that Pro Sport now sells. I now drop my initial rating to 6/10. Still like how the gauge looks and works though ![]()
