My tank holds about 15.5 gallons. There is 3.78 liters per gallon, so that ends up being bout 57 liters per tank. Is gas priced per liter in other countries? Im in the US.

Well I had this same problem after replacing my HG. It's an 86.5 N/A. The distributor was put in one tooth off and it did this. Reset it one tooth to the right and wallah, problem fixed.

Ya you definently do have some air trapped in your cooling system. Mine does that after I changed the HG.
As for that idle, check your TPS. But I know this happens with a vacuum leak too.

Yup, more than likely a BHG. Get you cyl head milled, valves replaced and new seals. I think the backfire problem is an incorrecltly setting valve. BHG are so common, I wouldn't hesitate to blame it...
