why do stock rod? does that mean your doing stock pistons aswell just oversized? you can buy eagle rod for like 480 on sale from suprastore and you can pick up some Wiseco 7MGTE Pistons for like 700...

I dont think there aluminume, My mk3 is over heating i replaced the thermostate and that kind of fixed the problem it still wants to try to over heat, but when it goes up it will decline 2 seconds...

Its an na-t conversion kit, they would list if you need to have a tranny upgrade if you need to upgrade the trans, but sence its a na-t conversion the original trans should work.
