yeah, i almost found that out the hard way. the thing is tho, that you can fit the rim on to the studs, and then you can get tempted to torque them down.

they are the right bolt pattern, the size tho i'm not too sure about.. you should check out www.tirerack.com. there you can find out how big and what offset will fit on your car.. i don't think that...

so the 89 supra has a 5x114 bolt pattern. i found a set of rims that i like, but the bolt pattern is 5x112.. will that fit on my supra?? i'm not sure if that's even a big differnece in size...??
