Unhappy What engine??

So here is the deal.. I have an 89 supra mk3 with a 7mge. i really want to give my car a little more power.. i would really like a turbo.. so the Question is: what's the best way to go at this? Should i buy a nice turbo and fix up the engine? or Should i buy a 7mgte? or should i buy a 1JZGTE? Money is def an issue.. I've have heard about being able to find 7mgte engines with not so many miles for less then a grand. but i've also heard about 1JZGTE engines that go for about 1200. i don't know what to do. And well yes, i would sure LOVE a 2JZGTE.. BUT, i can't afford that. What to do, what to do??

How much of an issue is money, really? If it's that big of an issue, I suggest you forget a swap completely; Start saving and buy a MKIII already equipped with a turbo'd engine. Speaking from personal experience and from watching others go through it a properly done swap will often cost as much or more than you may be able to find an already complete car for AND there's also the down time and labor to consider. Save the money, buy a healthy car that suits you needs/wants and then use your muscle to upgrade that.

As for which engine.... I like them all, but a 7M-GTE is usually the least expensive to swap in.
