i will be doing this swap in about another month to my car.
will be using r154 trans with 350 in mine....

if you dropped 5k in a rebuild and using stock internals u over paid....
u could have rebuild your motor with better aftermarket parts for less than 5k

i would put money on it being a blown head...

i would put money on it being a blown head gasket. buy ARP headstuds to bolt the new gasket down and never have to worrie again

i put factory turbo on my NA supra. i rigged the piping for it just to get it done. kinda looks like hell but it works. i just need to get a better turbo mine is leaking oil and makeing my car smoke.

if your car is non turbo pull the distributer cap...

if your car is non turbo pull the distributer cap and look at it inside there if its all corroded then replace the cap. the way u make it sound that 2 of he coils are not working u have a turbo car...

take the valve covers off and loosen the head...

take the valve covers off and loosen the head bolts and retorque them.
that should give u a few more months if its not blown bad. my brother inlaw did that with his supra and he drives it very hard...
