Im by far no V8 fan though the stock ls1 engines in Australia do 380hp, from holden (aka gm). Though power is quickly demolished by weight (around 1700 kgs). Though the new ls2 that just came out has about 400hp, and the weight stays around the same to give an all 5.1 sec 0-60mph in auto
 and the ls7 is 500hp as i've said in my last post, and in the new corvette thats 4.2sec to 60mph <_<
