Supra, but it's gonna be tough. Jetta is a LOT lighter than us, but is down a good 30 horses. I don't know how good the auto is in the supra compared to the standard though...

the supra will probably win depending on the small mods and the auto tranny, there is also the drivetrain factor...supra is rwd and jetta is fwd...i got my money on teh supra

With some light modifications my 88 Jetta has been keeping up with most MK3 VR6 VW's. The VR6 really isn't much when you put it in a heavy MK3 with the long gear ratios. I'd put my money on the Supra.

i'd say the supra but at the same time the jetta is gonna shift faster if the person knows how to shift but i still got my money on the supra, dont really know anything about the jetta but from what it sounds like that the supra would have it, might be close tough *Shrug Sholders*
