28 is too low. That's a sedan's "comfortable" mushy ride PSI.
Most performance tire's pressure for our sizes are max'd at between 44psi & 51 psi. I run 36psi for good handle and tire wear, yet have a little 'give' for the crappy streets of America. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoHome.dos? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...currentpage=38
