Default Good Buy?

Looking for project car. Does a non- spooling turbo mean bad news for engine?

he said the turbo is good but it doesnt spool?
then whats a bad turbo then? after it explodes?
idk, he has somewhat a lot of extras with the car,

but new ic pipes?why, cuz mine got filled with oil when the turbo went bad?
is he trying to hide something?
i would think more than twice getting that car
the turbo, maybe jus a sign of something else wrong with that car

Thanks. Yea, I'm going to look at it Friday, and ask him about it. I'll take it for a test drive, and if it's running too rough I will not even consider it. He says it just doesnt spool, but it spins freely. We'll see. Thanks for the reply.

take out the intake pipe,
the one that leads into the turbo
see if there's any oil in there

and also check the oil return pipe, if you can
these thing can bear signs of a blown turbo
or a improperly installed turbo

if there's any doubt in your mind
DO NOT BUY THE CAR

i made the mistake of trusting a guy with a mk3 already
dont do the same thing
these cars are good cars
if anybody wants to get rid of it
most of the time there's sumthing wrong with it
