Question Question!

I'm parking my 1987 toyota supra for the winter for the many obvious reason, I have a car cover to cover it up and some spray on oil stuff to lube everything up while its parked but.... Here's my question since it's outside in -30ish CELCIUS weather what should I do? And I mean everything I need to do? like should I start it up somtimes and should I put anything additives in the gas? And what about rust anything to prevent? This car is MINT any information would BE AWESOME!

Cheers mates

If your car's a Turbo you should start it once a week or every other week at worse. If your cars an n/a, you "should" be okay for once a month. With a turbo you have to keep things moving or the seals start to dry out and your car will smoke when you start her over again.

The steel belts in the tires can take on a "set"(flat spot), and then when you start driving it again, you will get a belt seperation. Been there, done that ! Many motor homes and trailers get this from sitting too long.

If you drive the car once a week, it should not happen, as you will park in a different place on the tires.

Plus running it on stands, or once a week drive, the oils in the diff, tranny, p/s, and engine will get spread around and keep moisure from rusting and corroding things.

I would also dump a bottle of fuel stabilizer in the tank so your gas doesn't get too funky.
