head studs are the way to go for good secureness....and they dont really need to get re-torqued because the stem dont twist when u tighten them....but its harder to change the head or gasket when everything is in the car....
head bolts are good too but they will need to get re-torqued because the stem twists a little; n when it heats up after a while it loosens up....but its easier to do hg's n shyt while the motor is in the car..... i'd say the best is STUDS....it has equal tightness without twisting strain on the stem.......
