question about an engine in need

hi everybody! im a long time reader of this forum, but this is the first chance ive had to sign up and use it. heres the hap's: ive got coolant coming from #6 into the exhaust manifold. sucks, i know. if i ask any questions that come across as stupid, its cause im just getting over the "i cant work on this car, its an import" phobia. anyhoo, my questions go like this, before i go tearing the head off, can anyone give me an idea of what i might be looking for? a friend said it probably wasnt a bhg (but what the hell does HE know), should i be focusing on the head, or the block, ill admit im not fully versed on the inner workings, so, again, im not sure what could be causing this leak. oh yeah, this is an 86.5 7mge non turbo. any pushes in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks.
