Default buying a supra!!

so i currently have a 86 honda prelude and im wanting something that has more power, but still looks good! so i came across a supra. im looking into around the late 80's and early 90's. i dont have too much money maybe about 2 grand ill have.

i need a few questions answered if possible.

1) how much would a supra in those years run about (considering there running)

2) does the turbo ever brake and is hard to get a new one

3) is there alot of mods you can do?

4) which one do you suggest i get

thanks alot,
James

Answers:

1) Sounds like a Mark III Supra. A running one with age showing can be had for $2000 or less, maybe. A restored or modded one will be $8000 or better.

2) Turbos break. New or rebuilts can be found easily enough.

3) Tons of mods. All according to your wallet.

4) Any one you can afford.

1. you can prolly find a decent one in the 3k-5k range.

2. ya turbos break, but the ct-26 tend to be easy to find and rebuilding is pretty cheap

3. ya tons of mods, takes a lil while to find them

4. i would suggest a late model, like a 90-92, but they tend to be more scarce and more expensive then 89-

gl finding one and stick around the forums
