Default How much hp can a auto tranny take on a tt supra?

I was wondering cause the na tranny can only take so much! I was just wondering how much hp the auto tt tranny can take? This information would be useful! thank u for ur time!

I can not guarantee it but i have heard people running well over 600hp.

That's only with an oem tranny beefed up with aftermarket parts (eg. Soundperformance, Boostlogic, etc.). Bone-stock, the oem mkiv tt auto tranny can only relaibly handle about 525rwhp or so...depending on how hard it's driven and how much rubber is on the back tires (in other words, don't do donuts with 12" wide slicks, 525rwhp, and a bone-stock auto tranny).

Yeah I know the 6 speed getrag can handle 600whp quite easily but the auto I'd be scared to push past 500.. good luck with your car buddy I'm gettin mine right shortly

Actually the 6 speed can handle 1,600whp quite easily....
