General Supra Info needed please

My insurance on my 89 turbo targa top is LOWER than my insurance on my 82 toyota 4x4. The addition of ABS tends to lower insurance.

You're only 18? hmmm...I'm 24 and i'm having trouble keeping my foot out of it and I've scared the *&%^&% outta myself in my car. I know how to drive, and drive well, but this is a lot of car, and the kick of a turbo will kick the rear out on a corner if you aren't used to it and know to expect it. Turbo car, you HAVE to be religious about oil changes. Change oil, or screw up a turbo, you're choice.

Gas mileage....better than my truck that has 31" tires on it, and 4.11:1 gears in the back, but it depends on how you drive. Light foot, don't boost, and you'll get great gas mileage. Put your foot into it, and boost everywhere (like me), and it tanks a bit, but it's FUN :lol:
