thanx. fuel injectors... i just assumed they would be needed. im quite new to all this stuff and what is the difference between rwhp and hp? sorry im used to kw. and i means 550hp or about 400kw. sorry for the confusion and thnx for your help.
and yea the twin turbo im talking about. that has about 320 hp stock. also, would mucking around with the turbo timing, etc car tuning add extra power to the car? and is it possible to do it without a profesional or would that be recommended? thanx so much for ur time. oh yea and what i've been looking at has around 60 - 100,000 km's (40,000 - 60,000 miles). and 98 models i think are best. hey, thanx for all your info. yea adjusting the turbo sounds like a good idea. 470hp sounds nice for that cost. what would the expected cost be to get it to about 550hp compared to about 750/800? just wondering.
and i just like '98 models. also, in general they have less miles on them and in better condition. and that web link was great. (mkiv.com) thnx |

Again, do you mean 750hp at the crank, or 750rwhp (at the wheels)? Cost difference is night-and-day...

750hp = 637.5 through a 6spd. Getting an Mkiv TT to 637.5rwhp isn't too tough. You'll need a full fuel system (about $2K), a full turbo upgrade kit ($4K-$5K), a good FMIC (about $1500), exhaust ($500-$2000), clutch ($2K), ecu upgrade (eg MAP ecu) about $1K, and rims&tires to transfer all that new hp to the road (about $3K). You'll also need about $3K+ in labor to install all of this and get it tuned.
