Default 1JZ 2JZ injectors

I am sorry if this has been covered but just after some help.

Ok some people I have spoken thought 1JZ and 2JZ injectors are interchangeable but by have pulling my stock 1JZ injectors out and comparing them with the 2jz injectors. They appear to be a lot different and I would say they are not interchangeable but I am no mechanic and far from it so please correct me if I am wrong.

The Photos show 2 different sealing points and where the fuel flows through are in 2 different locations. The 1JZ injector is the yellow one

Any opinions????? or things that I am missing....

Josh

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
