there's an awesome source right there
![]() i haven't had personal experience in swapping in a 1j just yet... i work on genuine jza70's heh there is a company that is making solid engine mounts for the 1jz.. i believe to even possibly fit into the pre 89 crossmember so you don't need to swap that in but if ya can't find the mounts.... crossmember engine 7mgte 5sp box 1jz bellhousing if non turbo it is suggested to swap in a 3.9 diff rather than keep your 4.5 or 4.3 whichever ones you have there power steering, you will need to swap some in.. i believe most are using 2jz power steering lines? (Alby what did you use) ecu engine harness (make sure you get the engine harness and ecu from the same 1jz vehicle... soarers and supras use different harnesses and ecus) if you find a soarer 1jz, find yourself some jza70 engine mount brackets (ones that bolt on the block) as soarers sit higher and further forward than jza70's and some wiring diagrams which www.1jz-gte.us should have good soldering ability and electrical knowledge and good luck with the swap
