The only way that will help is if it is weight reduced, unless you think that's going to make it spin faster at lower rpm's or something. I don't see that as logical. IMO.

i found out that polishing the crank helps it move through oil better.

Ya you'll spin the same but more smoothly.

Anytime you can reduce friction it's just smart money.

And sinse you're doing new internals I would have it done along with the head being ported and polished.

3/4 hundred for the machining of the head.
300 for the port and polish.

I'm not sure how much for the block. I lapped mine.
I would bet it would be about the same or a bit more than 300. Under 500.
No problems.

With all this work being done to your motor what kind of numbers are you
expecting?

Or is this all to get it back to the original state?

I don't think in a straight line man and I never had it on the track.

It broke right after I aquired it.

I'm more of a road course kinda guy. I'm expecting 250 horse. But that is probably higher than what it will be.
