do the simple thing and check your HG first make sure its good..if you want more power and your HG is safe go with the typical thing and 3inch exhuast, air intake system, downpipe, buh i suggest making sure you make sure everything runs perfectly

i did that i did the typical exhuast and intake..but now i stopped and now im saving up for a full engine rebuild so that HG doesnt kick me in the balls then Btch slap me later on

well thats where issues start to kick in, if you want boost and you have the stock turbo, im not 100% sure on this one, but it is said to be the most reliable way of turning it up. is shimming the waste-gate mmm put 3-4 washers on the waste-gate aculator and tada you will go from the stock boost to about 9-11psi depending on the amount of washers you place in there, this is said to be the "cheap mans boost controler" but it works.

the stock turbo can handle 15psi dont know how reliable it is at that but i know thats what it can handle. im doing 10-11psi every day and havnt had any issues with it.

if you want to go past the, well its a random number but between 12-15psi range your going to have to get a FCD from HKS "fuel cut deffender" and also upgrade your fuel system. injectors, pump, fuel pressure regulator,ect... that way you can have more than what the cars gas can handle. once you have hit a certain point of boost your car will hit what is called fuel cut and thats just you engine saying i dont have enough gas to handle the amount of air your giving me and it will temporarly shut off and feel like you hit a brick wall. from what i know its doesnt cause damage to the engine its just another gay saftey thing toyota wanted to put in the car. also you will need a boost controller, and a bigger turbo. and also the good ol HKS metal HG will be needed to to handle that without blowin it.

the question i have is how much boost can the car handle? if there is a limit. i mean its gotta blow under pressure some time, im guessin 25-30psi is max that would be safe. 40psi if you get there some how would probably be pushin its limits and good for just track use.
