The car is a 88 N/A auto. The porblem is when the car is running, when exiting vehicle you get a nice static discharge. I have replaced plug wires, battery grounds added engine ground wires. Nothing is alleviating this issue. What else am I missing that may cause this? Obviously it is a ground issue. I just havent figured out the proper ground problem.
Just to clarify, this isnt a full on ignition wire shock. I get one fair discharge and no more until I touch metal again a few minutes later. If the car isnt running or is never started you dont get shocked. If standing outside the car, it needs to be running for a few minutes before you will get the discharge.
