also there is a little silver box next to where the brake pedal goes that says 7mge it is right i nthe way of where i need ot put the clutch any idea what this is and if ican move it to put my clutch pedal in ( my car has a sunroof and for some reason i think it might have ot do with trhe sun roof)

im not sure what that would be. there are like rubber plugs for those holes.

Default 88 supra auto to 5 speed swap.

hi. my name is kenny i am jeffs older brother . i have changed the slave cylinder on a stand. supra befor and know exctaly what you went threw in in your pictures. i only have one question the auto wont start unless its in Drive or nuetral. and the manual has that little switch the petal pushes in when the push the pedal to the floor. i know a way to jump it and make it work i was just woundering what you did on you car.

i was wondering the same thing on how to get the car to start after switching it from auto to manual. what do you have to do?

i didnt get a chance to finish mine but i dont think you nedd to wire up the pedal to get the car to start. you just wont be able to use cruise and you have to rember to push the pedal in when starting your car. you will have wire up the trans though so the tail lights will work and all that stuff.

ok do u no of any way to hook up the pedal becasue u use my cruise a lot and will need it by the way y didnt u finish yours?

never did the pedal but i think there is a write up on supra forums http://supraforums.com/forum/index.php


i didnt really know what i was doin and got stuck on trying to get the starter off and then decided to wait till i get my engine as well so i can do it all at once.

i pulled my auto trans today it took me the most time to get the starter out like 45min buy i got the transmission out it took 2hrs and 10min pretty goodi think but my 5spd is going in tommorow

ok so i git my transmission i yesterday it works good but no pics sorry my lcutch squeaks when u push it in and let it out and the pedal fells really soft sometimes it fells like the cltuch isnot disengaing all the way my dad says it is prob the slave cylinder that it is leaking
