They will be about the same power and ammount of noise. If you want to keep it quiet, Leave the cat alone and the stock piping. There was a pretty big difference in sound with the 2.5 inch piping, Because i reused the same muffler. I was going to get my cat gutted out but i sold the car
 might have made it sound better. And if anyone sees this \/ car in the philly/South jersey area, Let me know. I wana know how its doing!1!
