EGR.....so many discussions on this, as well as other forums. If you have EGR, I suggest keeping it. But if you must remove it and block it....you will need:
1. JDM ECU, USDM ECU is calibrated for use with EGR, ECU will will not function properly without it. 2. Another option, get a stand alone or a piggy back to disable the EGR function of the ECU. There is a lot of arguments in regards to EGR, it's your car....only you can make that final wise decision. As for the canister, you can get a smaller type canister from newer cars or get the JDM one which is a lot smaller than the big ones we have. |

![]() The Tercel's CC is MUCH smaller (about 1/3 the size) and of sufficient volume for most MKIII's.... I suppose if you live in Death Valley (or Lubbock, TX from what I remember) you'd need the larger CC still).
