no 'there' is not slang for 'their'.... their, by the way it's not thier... is the possesive form of they. so you would use it when saying 'i borrowed their map' 'we went to their house and had a party' so it's showing someones possession. where as 'there' is more like describing an area or place like 'over there' or 'take the plane to texas, once you get there...' things like that.

im 17 and my dad bought me my 88 supra on the day before my 16th bday out of the junkyard lol it didnt have anywheels and blown motor its awsome now it looks like that but without the wheels and the window tint im still workin on gettin those wheels
