Default help!!! unknown part

ok so i am putting back together my 88 supra non turbo and i have a big hole on the drivers side of the block right there and dont know what goes there and i dont know where this peice goes please help!!!

ah nm we figured out how it goes on. still have no idea what it is but it fits now and no missing pieces

AS weird and as awkward as the picture looks, that hole in the back looks a lot like the hole for the starter. I can see the teeth in the flywheel,so to fill it would take a starter.


Is that a close guess?
