sounds off the wall but this maybe a good idea..is there any type of plastics manufacturer in your area?
the way the coat the parts is by a thin sheet and glue basicly get in good with the owner/boss/forman and see if he can get you sheets of the crap just ask for the scraps the parts are small he'll more then likely give them to you use a medium grit sandpaper to score the metal apply the glue use a heat gun to warm up the plastic/vinal so you can mold it around the part when the glue is tacky apply the vinal then heat it up so you can mold it its worth a shot..i mean..555? thats insane does that price cover the whole hatch? or just the glass? lololol |
