It's MUCH easier with a new accordian hose.
I'm very sure that your hose is old, dryrotted, and hard. That makes the hose very hard to move. What I had to do is loosen the clamp at the turbo, and pull it away on that end. Then you can swing it down and pull the filter out like that. It's a lot of work to just check the filter, but that's the way you gotta do it if you've got an old accordian hose. |
