congrats on the mileage increase. I'd love to find a way to get my mileage "average" up beyond 20+ mph without loosing the performance.

i don't think anywhere else in the world got supermonitors, only the states i think
we didn't get them here altho it'd be cool to have one i believe that even if your 87/88 didn't have the supermonitor stock i think there is the wiring harness still behind the dash so you can install it if you wish and the only ppl posting are ppl with the information that you requested, so make up your mind, you want any ppl to post opinions/information or just ppl with experience with the supermonitor (your post has been edited accordingly)

does anyone know if the 86.5 has the harness for it? are you lumping 86.5 in with 87/88, or is there really that much of a difference from 86.5 to 87?

ALL 86.5-88 Supra's have the "possibility" of having the wiring for it...but not all do. My 86.5 did not have it but my 88 does.
If you pull off the panel that goes under the steering column, and look up under there, you will either see a 2inch long connector thats not plugged into anything, or you dont have the wiring for it. It takes less than 5 minutes to find out.
