I have an 87 supra with an after market sunroof. the fuse blewout and cant seem to find it. i tore part of the liner down where the motor is and traced the wires down to the driver side kick panel but after that can see the wires any more. Ive seen other supras with the same sunroof( thought the motor was bad at first so i took one off at a junk yard that still worked) does any one know where they are.its summer time soon and id love to get it working also if i cant find it is there any way to rewire it so it does work.
thanks

hmm i'm not sure where the fuse is for the sunroof as 86-89 sunroofs were installed at the dealer... i'll have a chat to some friends of mine bout it for ya... i think the motor for the sunroof is located in the roof lining... not positive tho

well....sometime its not the fuse that cause the sunroofs tho...it can be a relay...to it..i not sure bout the mk3 but on the mk2 relay is on the back pssnger seat that were on the side of the panel tho....i have 2friends that having the same problem too...but one of my friend we rewired the + to the sunroof motor from the door switch... the other friend he rewired the + from any wired that when you turn the key ing. on and it have power......so yeah....n he rewired that + to the motor....from his mk2 n it work....if you cant find the relay or the fuse or the problem to that...i think rewired all the wired are expensice tho...i think you sure try to do what my friend does...it save you a buck or two....cause u can do it urself for less expensive...

well....i not so sure bout the mk3 tho....so i will just describe what i did to my friend mk2 alright... well... i rewired a + (hot wired) from the door/window switch from the door panel...where all of those buttoms at... you know what i talking about....well yeah....n...i rewired that + (hot wire) to the yellow/red one from the sunroof motor....i combine the yellow n the red one into one...because they were hot wired by the way right.. so the black one i just leave it where its at....as long as there is a ground surface attach. to it...well you can add a fuse to it if you want to but if you dont its ok...because its connect to your window/door switch so whenever you got bln. fuse then the door/window fuse or the relay is the only one that you were looking for it..i think thats the best way to leave it like that...but if you want to add a fuse to it...you can..well.. if you wanna know more....ask again....n i try my best to describe this time to help you solve it alright....cause...i dont have much time up in here so if you do want to know more...i can send you an email...with all the detail that i what i were doing alright....but if you know what i were talking about up in here than you can do it for yourself but still having trouble for reading than please fl. free to email me at yh64@hotmail.com n type in "toyota-supra.info rewired" so i know who n what i we were talking about alright...hope that work for you. let me know if you got to work alright...
