I have heard that the new HKS's do not even have an adjustment screw but this is rumors., So I will agree with you..

Mine was fine until I upgraded the turbo and I had comp surge at low boost, Once adjusted, the surge it is about gone. But I am going to install a second BOV to remove all comp surge.
