2. Check your brake master cylinder for the fluid level. Might have a leak somewhere. 3. Whats your oil pressure at idle and while moving? 4. Switch to a heavier weight oil 5. 87 octane isnt a problem. You should get a tune up if you want the engine to last a little longer. 6. If it has a knock, it'll be done in the next 6 months anyway. What he said. Plus get a manual for the car. Every car needs periodic care. You have to keep on top of the little things or they get big and very expensive. I have bought cars for very little because the owner thought the car was in bad shape when all it really needed was a tune up and shocks, or a fuse replaced.
This forum is great for advice, but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and learn how to fix things. It is fun and then you will be able to help others as you become more confident of your skills. Russ |
