Default How to improve on the pickup 1g-gteu

Does ny1 know how to improve on the pickup of the 1g-gteu twin turbo engine - i am sure something can be changed or modded to get the wheel spinning
let me know wht you guys hav in mine .

hmmm get the lag time down? lol.... try putting on a new intake & exhaust and from there intercooler piping upgrade and i'm sure you'll find it going alot better

Thank you supra girl with the knoledge u have for all this i did get u shipped to my country and with ur help get my 1g-gteu running faster - only if i had the $$$$$ - well besides this anything else u can comeup with let me know

and also which ones faster a toyota mr2 with 1g-gteu twin turbo or a toyota mr2 1995 = i m not to aware of the mr2's engines and year this ones a 1995 mr2 turbo tht i been looking at - what do u think let me know ?

well you wouldn't be able to fit a 1ggte into an mr2, mid mounted engine
it can be done i guess with lotsa $$$ lol

U missunderstod my question
what i was trying to ask was which is a better car a toyota mr2 turbo 1995 or toyora supra with a 1g-gteu twin turbo 1992 - i drive fast as we have no speeding laws in india - just wanted to know which one drinks more fuel and which ones faster and which one do u preffer and anything else u want to put up

Speed in a turbo car is getting the turbo spooling ASAP, best way to do this is larger more free flowing exhaust. then after that more intake to promote easier aspiration. You basically want nothing effecting how quickly the turbo can spool except friction and your foot.

And how do u rebuilt the ct12 turbos of the 1g-gteu to larger trim sizes - Any1 with some explanation on this i can get it done locally if i understand this better - And i also read about the dead weight on the tank of the vehical what weight -thank you
