i don't mean to sound rude, but that's alot of money to be throwing at your car at such a young age. are your parents cool with that?

if you want to push 700+rwhp just go to www.7mpower.com and do exactly what the top guy did to his car. good luck, be safe, and have fun.

You'll need way more fuel than a 255lph fuelpump can provide, and you'll need a bigger turbo than a GT3540. You'll also need about $20 grand. Is this a street car or a strictly drag car? Any thing over 600whp your going to need slicks... Build it up to 500whp, thats more than enough to wrap it around something. 1000whp... Why?

I'm 18 and I'm about to build up an engine with about 550-600HP. My parents are very supportive about it. They just arent giving me any money. My dad actually wants to try to drive it when its done. I added everything up from the places I can find everything and it was just a little shy of $14k. It'll be a good learning experience. But on another note, I do feel that you won't be able to handle that kind of power. I don't think I will either, thats why when it's done, I'll be turning the psi up by 3 psi once a week so I can get used to it.

14k was my original budget, 600whp. It's now $18k or so, excluding the car, suspension and wheels. I'm not trying to discourage you. Just be ready for the little things to drive up the price... Good luck

Im using an aeromotive a1000 external pump, with the stock tank sumped. 10AN tank to pump, 8AN pump to filter to 1/2" aluminum hardline, then 8AN to the Lipp rail. Aeromotive FPR. My engine is a couple weeks from being built. So I can't comment on how well it will work. I probably have $1500 - $1800 into the fuel system.
