What Would It Take To Get In The 13's

does anyone know how much the stock bumpers weigh? i was thinking of taking thsoe out and molding my own out of foam to support the body. as long as i dont crash i should be ok haha. but if they dont weigh that much i wouoldnt do it anyway.

i wouldn't do that for safety reasons. just at least get some Drag Radials and launch the snot outta the car. don't start choppin your car just to get into the 13's or 12's. i'd only resort to that if i was only a couple of tenths from running 9's... maybe. i'd still rather have a nice clean looking MKIII than a bare bones looking car running 12's.
