you may be able to get into the 13s with what you got. id add on a manaual boost controler and then take out everything i dont need to race, ex: subwoofers, spare tire, maybe other seats, etc.

You are going to need a larger turbo and larger injectors. Also the larger Lexus afm is a must. Sounds like everything else is right, but if you push it hard off the line, the stock clutch may become suspect and the stock rubber bushings in the rear will give you wheel hop. I think with the weight of the car you will need some very sticky tires too.

Seems like you need almost 400 hp to get a 3600 lb beast through the 1/4 mile at the times you are looking for. Stock times are around the high 16's.

you already have the right recipe for 13's. my only question is what size upgraded CT26 do you have, and how much boost are you running.

I was running 2.1 60ft (sucks) 13.7 @ 103mph. I was going to run on my buddy's slicks, but it got late that night and he was still trying to bust 12's with his DSM.

later on i ended getting an upgraded turbo (still stock elbow), 550cc's, and running 18psi. cheapie clutch started to slip but still managed 13.10's @ 111-112mph. the turbo compressor wheel was upgraded to a Garrett T04e "50" trim wheel. i thought that little turbo was awesome. it spooled like a stocker, but pulled pretty good.

oh yeah, learning to launch that pig will be your best friend. i found that rolling off the clutch smoothly would give me maximum grip, but at the cost of burning up the clutch life. you'll find your nitch when you're at the dragstrip. good luck, be safe, and have fun.

I was running a consistant 14.20's. MPH was ranging from 99-101...... depending on weather conditions. short times were still a crummy 2.1 - 2.2 on street tires. the same DSM friend of mine let me run on his slicks. it was the last run of the night, so i was only able to make one pass. warmed up the slicks pretty good. i dumped the clutch at around 5000RPM and instantly hooked. car bogged a little becuase lack of low end torque, but still managed to pull off a 1.9 60ft time. speed shifted into second without any wheelspin. then dumb ass me missed 3rd gear. :( got it back in gear as quick as i could. ended up running 14.08xx. had i not missed 3rd gear that would have been an easy 13.9 pass, and possibly 13.8 or quicker.

on street tires i would usually get alot of wheelspin coming out of first, and a then some in second gear. those sticky slicks really planted the wheels to the ground, and i felt the car pull alot harder down low. if you have some friends with a set of stickies that fits your car you might want to try them. their known to chop your e.t.'s by .5seconds versus street tires. good luck and let us know how you do.

im sure upgrading the suspension and tires would help a lot. i was looking at most cars that run those speeds---99-101 and they have lower ETs and lower 60f times, which means ure car is very fast on the last 70% of the track lol. Get mickey thompson drag radials or an equivalent. and also removing about 1000lbs off the car would help a lot. haha. im trying to lighten mine

Well with a drivers seat of course. But NOT the stock one. I have a power drivers seat and my god is it heavy.

even if you strip it down, at most you only take out 200lb (just an estemate), but hey every 100lbs is .1 second.

does anyone know how much the stock bumpers weigh? i was thinking of taking thsoe out and molding my own out of foam to support the body. as long as i dont crash i should be ok haha. but if they dont weigh that much i wouoldnt do it anyway.
