Default Lowering a MKIII?

I tried looking for threads on this, but I couldn't find any...

I recently put some 18's on my Supra, and with stock suspension it looks quite tall. I don't wanna put it barely above ground as it is my daily driver and don't wanna have headaches when having to pass uneven surfaces.

I've noticed there is more space above the front wheels than the rear wheels... I'd say a 2 inch drop in front, and 1 inch in the back, would be more than good. Maybe 1.5 in front if I can't find something that drops it 2 inches.

Now, the thing is, I'm on a budget and honestly, don't wanna spend a lot of money on this. I don't care about the handling, to me it handles well already.. remember it's N/A with no mods... oh, yeah, 2.5" exhaust, which I did today, big deal! Heh. So what would you guys recommend?

BTW, whenever I go through an imperfection in the street, I feel it a lot. Could it be the struts are worn out? Or what? .. I drove my sister's Corolla today and it felt so nice to run over any hole in the street, it'd just feel comfortable anyways. If I step on a hole in the street, I feel it more than I would like to...

Eibach + Tokico Illuminas. Again you mention budget. Your mods should be well thought out, that way there will be little or no regret after making a purchase for an upgrade. Maybe you should have done the suspension 1st before anything else. Every car I've owned, lowering the car was my 1st objective. With one exception, my Supra. I had to tear into the engine 1st out of necessity, upgrading certain things while I was there was only logical.

tokico whites and ground control springs are a good combo, my first obligation is the motor/suspension...i try and balance it at the same time... more power means that the suspension needs to be upgraded to handle all of it...no sense in making 400hp and running stock setup

Yup. Actually, it was the 1st thing I was going to do except the headgasket blew before I even had a real taste of my cars potential. I only drove it twice before it took a poo. So I bought a rebuilt head, stainless 3" elbow, headgasket kit, Bosch fuel filter, NGK Wires and Iridium plugs, an HKS Downpipe, HKS headgasket, and ARP head bolts. I'm in the process of doing it now, otherwise it would've been dropped already. I still have to buy a bunch of replacement hoses because a lot of the original stuff is cracking.

Man I wonder if anybody here bought that used Tein HA (Japan only) full coilover suspension off of eBay. It was fully adjustable and had dual springs so you can lower it even further without worring about preload. It went for less than $400 with shipping. I wanted that sooooo bad but had to do my headgasket.

From what I have read, you don't need a camber kit. Even lowered it can be aligned within the factory specs.
