Will do but it seems like the idle us lower than what it should be yeah I got to hunt down all the vacuume lines and make sure but this is weird because it will start fine sometimes and not others and once it was starting every try than I stalled it once than it wouldn't start up after.

Fuel Filter? Disregard that I see you said you changed it... though if the car sat for that long who knows what shape the tank is in.. but it does sound like the filter... check fuel pressure at the rail!

When you had the tank down to replace the fuel pump, what smells came from it? Good time to check it for leaks (I had to have some dime-size holes in mine welded and then fiberglassed over it for added durability). Good time to clean it out and reseal it from the inside. POR makes a really good product for cleaning and sealing the tank.
For more idle issues check the throttle position sensor. TSRM goes through the way to check and calibrate it. Left mine disconnected after some of my injector work and took a long time to realize what why it wouldn't idle. |
