Exclamation 1991 supra mk3 7mgte, sluggish.

I have a 1991 supra mk3 7mgte, car runs perfect when building boost, but anything before that, i would have to press the pedal down to get the car moving good. Any suggestions on how to make the car run better? Haven't changed spark plugs as yet.

Spark plugs and filters are where I would start. A compression test may not be a bad idea, either.

If you could be a little more descriptive that will help, so like is the idle good? How's the throttle response, is it sluggish overall?

Throttle response a little late, pedal has a little 'rusty' movement (maybe needs to be greased?) However, many people are saying change your sparks, throw in some injector cleaner and you should see a difference?

Check the Air Flow Meter and the Throttle Position Sensor adjustment. The Test procedure is in the on line service manual.

Never clean a Air Flow Meter with any solvent. Check for the 2 holes being plugged though.
Excess oil in the intake can ruin these.
