DCG is on a distinguished road
Default For Sale: 1991 Supra Turbo, Manual, $12,000

Located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The second owner of a 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo with 87,000 km's.

$12,000 o.b.o

Originally equipped with an automatic transmission.
Converted to an R-154 manual gearbox.
Gearbox overhauled; new bearings, synchromesh rings, bearing retainer, gasket set prior to installation.
Flywheel machined.
All conversion/overhaul parts are NOS-OEM and/or Toyota equipment.
Currently operating engine using the OEM automatic ECU, approved by Toyota.

The achilles heal of the 7MGTE power-plant was an unsupervised head gasket. I purchased my Supra seven years ago with 34,000 km's. Aware that a head gasket failure was bankable, I disassembled the engine, researched, and hired a CNC repair facility to re-surface the cylinder block/cylinder head to 6 ums. In combination with a head shim and non-stretch head bolts; a bullet proof head/cylinder block assembly is possible when ran at OEM boost settings.

I reassembled the engine using new Toyota parts. Current engine mileage is 53,000 km's.

No accidents, no body panel dents, origonal glass, no corrosion, origonal paint.
Exterior color is black with grey cloth interior.

Sunroof, air conditioning, power windows.
I substituted the OEM head unit (no butchered wiring) with a Sony system including amplifier and twelve inch subwoofer.
All subsituted equipment has been retained and stored in order to maintain authenticity.
Eagle, chrome five spoke, wheels currently installed.
Full set of Borbet wheels included.
Falken tires have one summer season remaining.

The overall condition rates between high excellent to pristine. Unfortunately, an idle automobile creates brake rotors that have corroded. This car has always been garaged until recently, where it is now in a carport. Apart from the disclosed re-configuration, this Supra is all origonal minus the battery, windshield wipers, and front brake pads.

Should you be interested in a turn key automobile, where you can literally purchase and proceed on a cross country road trip, this is the Supra. I seek a new enthusiast whom will care for, and appreciate, a rare car.

Thank you.
