pvc/abs plastic i/c and intake piping run too hot...as rnoswal said..it insulates the heat...you dont want that you want it to dissiapte the heat, otherwise the charge air will get hot and you wont get maximum efficiency

ive done some reasearch before i bought mine and these guys have the best price by far that ive seen,
